Moode Audio Player 2.5

2/29に公開されたのをさっそく入れてみた．

本体は Raspberry Pi B．今となっては低スペックになってしまった機種だが，入れてみてびっくり．起動から反応から，速い速い．2.3までとは全然違う (2.4は試していない)．データベースの再構築も，今までほとんど一晩がかりだったのが数時間で終わってしまった(4万曲ほどあって，無線LAN越し)．
さらに，今までの Debian ベースのシステムの弱点だった，USB DACのホットプラグも，認識に若干の時間はかかる気はするがきちんと機能する．つまり，DACのスイッチを間違って落としてしまったりしても，システムを再起動しなくてもよくなった．

リモコンやプッシュスイッチがらみの追加設定はまだ試していないが，旧版を使っている人はぜひ更新しましょう．

Moode Audio 2.3

Moode Audio 2.3 が公開された．
8月末に 2.2 が公開されたばかりなのだが，すぐにバグが報告され，そのフィックスリリースとして 2.3 が出てきた．
Moode Audio 2.3 has been released.
Ver. 2.2 was released at the end of August, but a bug about cover-art extraction was reported immediately.  Ver. 2.3 is a bug-fix release.

Moode Audio は高頻度に改良バージョンがリリースされているが，2.2 では私のリクエストがひとつ採用されていて，web UI のボリュームノブをコマンドから操作できるようになった．Thanks, Tim.
Moode Audio is under active and continuing improvements, and Ver. 2.2 (and later) includes my proposal:  the volume knob displayed in the web-UI is now controllable from the command line.  Thanks, Tim.

mpdで演奏中の曲データをワンクリックで Windows のクリップボードに取り込む(2) Getting info. of the now-playing song on mpd into the Windows clipboard with one click (2)

以前に書いた「mpdで演奏中の曲データをワンクリックで Windows のクリップボードに取り込む」の続編というか，改良版というか．
This is the follow-up article of the previous post "Getting info. of the now-playing song on mpd into the Windows clipboard with one click".

前の記事では mpc コマンドの出力を awk とかで処理して必要な情報だけを取り出したりしていたが，mpc コマンドに --format (-f) というオプションがあったのだった．

In the previous post, the output of mpc command is handled with awk to extract desired info.  However, mpc features a very useful option --format (-f).

Moode Audio 1.9

公開されたので，さっそく入れてみた．
インストールの注意事項は1.8と変わらず．
リモコン等も同様に設定すれば使える．
Just released.  I tried it.
Notes for installation is similar to Release 1.8.
An IR remote controller and push button switch also work well through the same settings as 1.8.

再生した曲の履歴が残せるようになった．これはちょっといい機能．Webラジオでも流れた曲単位でログが残るので，さっきのは何だったんだろう，というのに対応できる．
The history feature for playback songs is newly available.  It works fine.  The data of songs from web radio are recorded for each song.  When we think "Ah, what is the song which was played just now?", we can check the data :-)

カバーアートも出るし，UI も割りと軽いし，設定も割りと容易．Raspberry Pi にしか対応していないが，もっと知られてもいいように思うなあ．
I recommend moode audio because the web UI works responsively and shows the cover art from my library, the settings are not difficult.  Note that it works on Raspberry Pi:  Cubox etc are not supported.

mpd ベースのプレイヤーを使っていると (とくにランダム再生を使っているときとか)，今流れている曲をツイートしたくなるときがある．RuneAudio の web UI にはそういう機能があるが，mpd 汎用の方法があると，いろいろとよさげである．

そういう意味では，アイコンクリック一発でクリップボードに曲名と演奏者名くらいが入ると，twitter クライアントに貼り付けやすく，またもう一言を添えやすく，汎用性も高い．むしろ下手にツイートまで自動でしてしまうよりいいぐらいである．普段作業している Windows 7/8.1 で，こういうことに対応したクライアントもあるのかもしれないが，そのためだけにクライアントを常時動かしておくというのもどうかという気がする (とくにランダム自動再生のときは)．
When playing with an mpd-based player, I often would like to tweet about the tune.  The web UI of Rune Audio supports tweeting function, but a more general way for mpd may be a good idea.
The goal:  only one click on the Windows desktop gets the title and the artist of the mpd now-playing tune into the Windows clipboard.

mpd の演奏状態は，Linux等では mpc というコマンドラインのクライアントで見ることができる．そこで mpc の Windows 版を使うことで，以下のような方法を取ってみた．

On Linux, mpc command reports the information about the now-playing tune.  I installed the Windows port of mpc and completed the purpose as below.

moOde audio player 1.8 が公開されたので，入れてみた．
moOde audio player 1.8 has just been released.  I've tried it.

Volumio と同様，Debian ベースの Linux 上で mpd を動かす，Raspberry pi 用のディストリビューション．
It is a Linux distribution for running mpd of Raspberry Pi, and is based on Debian similar to well-known Volumio.

Volumio や RuneAudio，Archphile に比べて知名度は低いが，うちの環境で web UI で folder.jpg をあっさり表示してくれるので，個人的には好評価なシステム．RuneAudio も folder.jpg を表示するようになっているはずなのだが，なぜかうちではうまく表示できないときがある．そもそも，web UI 自体も応答が一番軽い気もする (Archphile の ympd は別格)．

It is unpopular (relative to Volumio, RuneAudio, and Archphile), but I like it because the web UI is light-weighted and the cover-art display feature works well in my environment.

現状，Raspberry Pi を音楽サーバとして使うには，いくつかの方法がある．
ここに紹介する以外にも方法自体はいろいろあるのだが，mpd ベースで，SDカードへのイメージでの配布を前提にしたもので，現在も改良が続けられているもののうち，今までに試してみた 4つの方法について，気づいたことを書いておく．

Currently, we have several ways for building a music server with Raspberry pi.  Here, I introduce 4 mpd-based distributions I have tried to test.  These are all currently continuing the developments and improvements, and are distributed via the SD card images.
